WEEK 6

i was sick today but i heard what we had to do for art. we had to continue drawing the face but this time in dots. it is caled stripping or something like that. it was very easy to do but i was not sure if i did it correct. i guess that next week when miss corrects it i will see. this was the last art class in form 2 and i missed it :) we were also told that for our art test at the end of the term that we would get to draw a fruit with oil pastelles or pencils, i will go with pastelles as a pencil is too boring. i got word that i did it wrong and i will correct it. i think we have to do it with a pen but shade the spaces.

WEEK 5

TUTA went on strike and the majority of the class stayed home, including me. We apparently got a competition to participate in but i still don't have  clear idea about hat we have to do. i think it is about a drawing of a place where you grew up or something like that.

WEEK 4

Today we got to do over our pastelle drawing and i got 20/25 :) we also got to hand up our collages and i got 24/25 :). we also learnt how to draw a profile of a face with the use of grids and we were told to bring it next class. this drawing required accuracy and a ruler to ''copy and paste'' an immage.

WEEK 3

today we handed in our collages and miss did not like them. i had to do over mine and hand it up on week 4. i hope i get a good mark for all the hard work i did. we also started drawing an apple with the pastelles and it was the same as with the pencil as we had to wrap, soften, etc. i got 15/25 while my friends got about the same. we HAVE to do good in our collage to bring up our marks.

WEEK 2

we learned how to draw an apple with  a pencil and I scored 18/25. the drawing of the apple included wrappind, softening nd erasing the spots where light hit the apple. this required good eyesight as it was hard to spot the light from where i was sitting.  we had to bring pastelles for next class and a fruit to draw.

WEEK 1

The term started and we got our list of topics. we were immediaely given an assignment and it was a collage of a landscape. I was also interested in the still life drawing of a fruit which we would be starting next class. We were given a note on what was a collage and it is an image made using unlike materials to represent something else. we had to bring our art pencils for next art class and a fruit, i chose an apple, to draw.
